Shiv Sena patriarch Bal Thackeray has launched a fresh attack on actor Shah Rukh Khan, this time over the omission of former captain Sourav Ganguly from the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) team.
Labelling Khan as an opportunist, Thackeray lashed out at Khan for using the former Indian skipper's fame in his heydays and dumping him after extracting the goodwill.
In the afternoon edition of his party mouthpiece Saamna, Thackeray came down heavily on the KKR co-owner.
Taunting him for his overt affection for Pakistani players when they were left out in the last season, Thackeray said that the same SRK has now humiliated Ganguly by not bidding for him.
Thackeray again labelled Khan as a traitor in the article.
